Letter from the Director regarding COVID-19 and the 2021 Conference

As you respond to the pandemic to ensure the safety of your students, faculty, staff, and campus guests, I want to say thank you. Your work is invaluable especially in times of crisis.
We are working hard to organize a 2021 conference agenda that will focus on pandemic issues along with other critical campus safety topics. Your safety is our top priority and we are working to ensure a safe and productive conference.
Safe Campus is usually held in February, but pandemic-related safety concerns have required us to prepare for a 2021 summer or fall conference.
Any conference scheduled in 2021 will have broad and clear cancellation terms so you can register with confidence that if you need to cancel as the conference date nears, you can do so with a full refund. Full details will be listed on the registration page once the dates have been finalized.
We know disseminating information regarding how colleges and universities have responded to the pandemic is critical. Learning from each other and sharing ideas and best practices are necessary to avoid mistakes and to chart the best course of action. We are planning a virtual conference if we cannot safely host Safe Campus in 2021, and in either format, we look forward to seeing you.
